Impartiality Policy

At AESI ISO Certification Body, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of impartiality and objectivity in all our certification activities. We recognize that impartiality is essential to the credibility and integrity of our certification services, and we are committed to ensuring that all our certification activities are conducted in an impartial and unbiased manner.

 

To achieve this commitment, we have implemented the following policies and procedures:

 

  1. Identification and Management of Conflicts of Interest We have implemented a comprehensive process for identifying and managing conflicts of interest. This process includes:
  • Regularly reviewing and identifying potential conflicts of interest
  • Assessing the risks associated with each conflict of interest
  • Taking appropriate action to manage or eliminate any identified conflicts of interest
  1. Personnel Training We provide regular training to our personnel on the importance of impartiality and the potential risks associated with conflicts of interest. Our training program includes:
  • Regular training sessions for all personnel involved in the certification process
  • Specific training on impartiality and conflict of interest for those involved in decision-making and auditing activities
  • Ensuring that our personnel are aware of our impartiality policies and procedures and their roles and responsibilities in upholding them

  1. Certification Decisions Our certification decisions are based solely on the evidence presented to us during the certification process. We do not discriminate against any applicant or certified organization and treat all clients equally and fairly.

  2. Appeals Process We have an independent appeals process in place to ensure that our clients have an opportunity to challenge any decisions that they believe are unfair or unjust. The appeals process is accessible, fair, and impartial and is handled by personnel who are not involved in the original certification decision.

  3. Continuous Improvement We are committed to continually reviewing and improving our policies and procedures to ensure that we remain impartial and objective in all our certification activities.
